Gold FM

Gold FM is a non-profit community radio station that broadcasts to Welkom, Free State, using the frequency 104.3 FM and live streams globally through the internet. Its line-up combines music shows, competitions, entertainment shows and local news reports in Afrikaans (70%) and English (30%). Gold FM offers mostly locally driven content. As a non-profit, the station's earnings are redirected to promoting and developing the community through charitable initiatives and events highlighting the culture and traditions of the Free State.
