We are Brisbane’s Youth Community Radio Broadcaster providing opportunities to young people and students seeking experience in the media industry. Our volunteers are of all ages and abilities, who develop great self-esteem and communication skills whilst also serving the community. We provide engaging and empowering opportunities for young volunteers and prepare them for future career opportunities in media and business. Over the years, Brisbane’s Youth Radio has seen a number of its volunteers go on to both commercial television and radio positions all around the country such as with the ABC, Southern Cross Austereo, Nova Entertainment and Channel 7 just to name a few. If you’re studying Journalism, Marketing, Media, Music, Audio Engineering, I.T, Business, Law or Accounting, Brisbane Youth Radio is where you want to be to gain real world experience and meet like minded people.
